A driver can wear this vest all day long during race day - even while racing.  The thin, lightweight material will add some, but not alot of bulk under a driving jacket or suit.

Before going to the grid, soak the vest in water for 2 - 3 minutes to "charge" the evaporative cooling fabric, wring out the excess water, put on the vest, and go racing.

Once "charged" the vest should stay cool for at least 5 hours.  To recharge, just soak it in water again, wring it out, and you're ready to go again.
